Enrolment of Students

Our service uses a fantastic online booking program called QK Enrol, which gives you access to make bookings and complete an online enrolment form for your child, all within a parent portal called My Family Lounge.   QK Enrol allows you to provide detailed information about your child to our service such as medical information, diet requirements, emergency contact details and more! All this information is simply added into the online enrolment form.  Your My Family Lounge log in details will travel with you for life as you move childcare services that are subscribed to QK Enrol. You are able to log in anywhere, anytime as long as you have access to the internet. This form must be completed to book any SWISH Education programs.

Payment of Workshops

We require a Direct Debit form to be completed and returned to us to process payment for any SWISH Education enrolment.   This form can be found on a Pricing page

Registration and Collection of Students

Students must be registered (signed-in) and collected (signed-out) by a parent or guardian using the QK Kiosk program.  We will no longer be using a paper sign in/out system.   We will have a device available at the front desk.

One the first day follow these simple steps:

1. Insert your phone number.

2. It will ask you to set your private pin code. You have now set your log in details (phone number & pin).

3. Sign your child/ren in or, out or mark as absent.

4. Done!

5. Repeat on collection.

If the QK Kiosk (touchscreen) doesn’t accept your phone number, please double check with the staff if we have your correct phone number on our system. We can quickly update it, then you’ll be able to log in.

What happens if I need a family member or friend to drop off or collect?

No worries, because family member or friend will be in our system as an emergency contact for your family. So they will have their own log in details (phone number & private pin) to drop off or collect.

Nut and Seafood Free Zone

SWISH is a NUT and SEAFOOD FREE ZONE. Please do not bring any nuts or seafood products to any SWISH Education activity. These may cause an allergic reaction in some children, and may even result in death. We also ask that you provide enough food for 3 breaks (morning tea/lunch/afternoon tea). We are able to refill water bottles for children.

Medical action plans

Any student who requires the use of an asthma puffer, epi pen and/or medication MUST complete a medical action plan.  These can be found on our website under forms.

Sun smart policy

In the warmer weather all students are required  to bring a hat to play outside.  You will also need to provide sunscreen for your child.  We know there are plenty of students with allergies so we are asking PARENTS to please provide a suitable sunscreen for their child/ren to avoid any issues.

Clothing policy

All students MUST wear closed toe shoes, for safety.  We ask that long hair be tied back, especially those taking part in a science class.  If you wish to pack a paint smock or a change of clothes for children who are participating in a “messy” class, please feel free.  We also ask that a spare pair of underwear is in your child’s bag, as from time to time, accidents do happen, especially when there is so much fun being had.   SWISH Education reserves the right to refuse registration to unsuitably attired students (eg: explicit clothing, obscene slogans).

Toys policy

SWISH Education encourages children to bring in sporting equipment, games, books and toys. However SWISH Education would prefer children not to bring in bulky items as storage could be a problem. SWISH Education advises against children bringing in expensive or precious items in as SWISH Education cannot guarantee their security and will not be held liable for any loss or damage.

No Jab No pay

By now you will all be aware of the new government policy regarding immunisation.  Further information can be found here if you are unsure.

Behaviour Policy

SWISH Education has a strict behaviour code. In the interest of the learning opportunity of all of our students, consistently disruptive students will be removed from workshops and parents will be asked to collect them.

Cancellation Policy

We operate under a non-refund policy so, once a booking has been confirmed there are no refunds, we ask that you consider this before booking.
